Today’s post has been really hard to write. Mainly because every time I try, I keep swooning in a delicate, ladylike manner. You see, I’ve been asked by my fellow lovely Broody BFFs to write about the fateful day I met Brooding YA Hero. So, here goes – wish me luck…
I’ve actually done all my Christmas present shopping, so feeling quite smug as I type this. Today’s Blogmas is not only full of GIFs, it’s brought to you by an unexpected charity shop find, which you’ll see under the cut. (Hint: it has hooves.)
So, among the wave of new TV programmes in 2016, there’s one wee gem tucked away in Channel 4’s schedule on a Sunday night that’s right up my particular cultural strasse. Allow me to gush profusely about it this week.
I’m knee-deep in NaNoWriMo at the moment, prodding a moody cowboy through a vague shadow of a plot, but I managed to find time to do some research into tropes for a workshop with my editor. It was slightly shameful how much of TVTropes can be found in a random chapter of my novel, but then again I don’t think it’s a bad thing, especially when we’re dealing with the Brooding YA Hero.
